ITLT - Youth Leadership Development Program
Who Can Participate?
Participation in the Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders Today is a honor and open to students who are currently attending the middle and high schools that are in Cleveland /Bradley County.
ITLT is for students who desire to make a difference in their community.
Students will participate in:
- Service learning projects
- Community forums
- Community activities
- Youth leadership conferences
- Peer mentoring /tutoring
MISSION:
Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders Today (ITLT) exists to mobilize youth to become future productive leaders in our community through listening, discussion, educating, equipping, and mentoring.
PURPOSE
The purpose of ITLT is to help this generation of youth know that they can make a difference in their community and beyond with their gifts and talents.
The program is designed to:
Provide an understanding of leadership
- Provide an overview of Self-Image and leadership (including health and wellness)
- Introduce aspects of leadership and communication.
- Decision making and leadership
- Describe the development goal setting.
- Increase awareness of youth issues and consequences
- Acquaint students with opportunities for demonstrating leadership
Meet the Director
Daniel P. Burrell is the Youth Development Director which includes BTG mentoring and Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders Today (ITLT)youth leadership development programs. Daniel holds a B.A. degree in Christian Ministry from New Life Bible College and 10 years of experience in youth development. Daniel is also part-time Bible College Professor who enjoys teaching the Word of God. He is husband and father to LaKashah and Kaianna Burrell.
