The Listening Process

BICC listens to the community and then moves the community to take action.  Listening and building relationships provides the structure for the ministry of BICC in the community.

The one-to-one- listening interview is a very simple questionnaire, with open ended questions of their views concerning our community.

Open community forums and focus groups are also utilized to expand the listening scope. Information gathered in the process is used to identify the greatest concerns in our community.

The listening has served as the entrance point for many people in the community to become involved in the work at BICC, and in developing long term viable solutions to the concerns they voiced in the listening interviews.
