Mission of Starfish:

Acknowledging that parents are their child’s first and most important teacher, Starfish exists to aid them in helping their child maximize his or her future success in school and life by providing quality training and tools to families with children from prenatal to age three.

Who Can Enroll?

Any family who lives in Cleveland/Bradley County with a child from prenatal until Kindergarten entry. Starfish is free, voluntary, and confidential.

Parent Educators, certified by Parents as Teachers National Center, provide:

  • Visits every month or more if desired
Group Meetings
  • Monthly
  • Fun and educational
  • Parent Networking Opportunity
Screenings completed yearly
  • Developmental screening
  • Hearing and vision screenings
  • Network with medical providers
Resource Network
  • Information and referral to local resources
